McAtee Psychology is a dynamic psychology clinic in Calgary, committed to helping individuals and families lead richer, more connected, and meaningful lives. Our newly renovated South Calgary office is thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of our clients, providing high-quality counseling, assessment, and consultation services for all ages.
We are seeking a Clinic Manager who combines leadership, operational excellence, and a people-first approach to oversee our daily operations. This role is perfect for someone with experience in healthcare management or transferable skills from other industries, who thrives in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in administrative or management roles, preferably in a healthcare or counseling setting.
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with clinic management software (e.g., Jane App), accounting tools, HR platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of supervising and motivating teams.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with clients, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- A people-first mindset, with the ability to foster a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations, including client intake, scheduling, and administrative workflows, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
- Supervise and mentor administrative staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement strategies to enhance clinic growth and client satisfaction.
- Oversee policy development and ensure compliance with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and other regulatory standards.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, and training of staff to build and sustain a high-performing team.
- Leverage clinic management tools (e.g., Jane App) and other systems to optimize operations.
- Support marketing efforts, including social media management and community outreach initiatives.
- Analyze caseload trends and implement strategic improvements to enhance workflows and service delivery.
